Prem is a nationally recognized thought leader on sustainability and research informed design. As the Chief Climate Officer at DLR Group, he is responsible for enacting and managing the firm’s sustainability strategy ensuring that design and enterprise practices are economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable. Prem is an architect with an engineering background, he is a passionate advocate for sustainability and the aims of Architecture 2030. As a natural systems-thinker, he believes that innovative solutions emerge when we connect seemingly unrelated aspects around a challenge. He is a Certified Energy Manager and has taught courses on net-zero and carbon neutral design and simulation.
